WOW! What an incredible game!!! The Sheridan Spartan team played amazing volleyball and managed to come out with a win against Valley Catholic. They are now Oregons' 3A State Champions! I couldn't be prouder of Matt and his team.
Before we didn't get any sleep because of nervous excitement. Last night we didn't get any sleep because of pure excitement and adrenaline. The Spartan volleyball team hasn't won a state title since 1977, so this is a HUGE deal. Great job Spartans!!!

I actually heard that from my daughter who was at the tournament! And I thought of you! My daughter was asked to stay on after JV was over (she's a freshman), so she and one other freshman got to practice with Central's varsity and participate in all of the fun stuff with them. They got to sit on the bench at the tournament too! Very exciting and now there are two state champs in close proximity! This is Central's first volleyball championship. Please pass on the congratulations!
